Nick solo acoustic show in SLC!
Nick announced on Twitter last night that he will be doing a solo acoustic set at Candlelight Serenade Acoustic Festival on August 21st near SLC! He said the show is a benefit for Child Rescue, an organization fighting child slavery in North America.
Other artists performing include Chris Carrabba of Dashboard Confessional, Third Eye Blind, Relient K and more.

So, this is the 2nd Nick solo event in the past few months. I’m happy about it I guess, even though I probably won’t be able to go to this one either! I wonder if he’ll do more? I’m also glad it’s acoustic – maybe he actually listened to my suggestion about acoustic sets on Loveline???!!

i keep saying/dreaming this, but i wish i could throw a full band acoustic set / QA session for charity… streamed live & mp3 downloads available afterwards.. all proceeds to charity… Super small club like the troub in LA or something to make a 75 ticket worthwhile… I think it would be killer for the band, fans, and of course the charity(ies)

I would splurge to go to this if it were the whole band lol…but that’s cool for Nick. glad it’s for a good cause.

Just a correction…I read on their FB page that SA will also be there. I have VIP tickets to this show.
